WW2Bunker | Specialized 3D Printing & Digital Fabrication
WW2Bunker is a specialized, independent digital fabrication studio built for clients who require precision, versatility, and absolute discretion. Operating as a lean, low-volume bureau, the company works directly with clients to bring complex, highly technical ideas to life without the corporate overhead or communication gaps of larger manufacturing firms.
Despite a focused footprint, WW2Bunker is equipped with industrial-grade capabilities to handle specialized projects from initial scan to final assembly.
Core Capabilities
- Advanced 3D Printing: Equipped for large-format filament printing using rugged materials like ABS, Carbon Fiber, and Nylon, alongside a suite of 16K resin printers for immaculate, precision-detailed models.
- Digital Design & Reverse Engineering: Full-service CAD and mesh modeling. We translate concepts, sketches, or broken parts into production-ready vectorial (STEP) or mesh files.
- 3D Scanning & Replication: Non-destructive high-resolution 3D scanning to replicate, scale, or modify existing physical objects.
- Hybrid Fabrication: Supplementing 3D prints with in-house laser engraving and vacuforming for complete, multi-material projects.
Industries Served
Because of its specialized setup, WW2Bunker focuses its production capacity on three distinct areas that require strict accuracy and trust:
- Vintage Toy & Collectible Restoration: Specializing in exact-match repair, component replication, and restoration for WW2-era toys and rare collectibles.
- Scale Modeling & Prototyping: Ultra-fine detail printing for custom kits, historical miniatures, and architectural models.
-
Defense & Tactical Industry: Providing secure prototyping, component design, and fabrication support for body armor manufacturers and tactical gear developers.
Production Notice: To maintain the highest quality standards and meticulous attention to detail, WW2Bunker operates on a limited, project-by-project capacity. Clients work directly with the specialist designing the files and running the machines on every project.
Highlight Project's
Honoring a Hero: The "Squirrel is Alive" Commission
WW2Bunker was deeply honored to be approached by the family of Mary Rostad, the courageous Belgian resistance fighter and French underground courier whose wartime exploits are chronicled in the memoir Squirrel is Alive. As a teenager, Mary operated under the code name "Squirrel," risking her life to transport intelligence and small arms to help liberate Europe from Nazi tyranny.
The family commissioned WW2Bunker to bring "Squirrel" to life through custom 3D digital design and high-resolution printing. To be trusted with the physical remembrance of a true WWII partisan fighter is a profound privilege, and a perfect example of why this studio dedicates its craft to historical preservation.
