The Last Stand at Dunkerque

During the late spring of 1940, the French army and the British Expeditionary Force were pushed back to the coastal town of Dunkerque by the rapid German Blitzkrieg. While the evacuation was underway at the beaches, several brave divisions held a shrinking defensive perimeter against overwhelming Panzer and Luftwaffe assaults. This desperate defense, often involving brutal street-to-street fighting, provided the critical time necessary for the 'Little Ships' and Royal Navy vessels to rescue the bulk of the Allied fighting force from total destruction.\n\nThe set includes 6 highly detailed miniatures representing a mixed Anglo-French defensive unit in dynamic combat poses.
