The backbone of American logistics was the 2.5-ton 6x6 truck, affectionately known as the 'Deuce and a Half.' These vehicles required constant operation, often with two-man teams sharing the driving duties during grueling long-haul missions across liberated France. These crews wore standard M1941 field jackets or wool shirts and M1 helmets, often removing their heavy webbing for comfort while inside the cramped cabs of GMC or Studebaker transports. Whether navigating the muddy roads of the Hürtgen Forest or racing toward the Rhine, these transport teams ensured that the mechanized divisions never ran out of the vital supplies needed to sustain the offensive.\n\nThis high-detail resin set features two seated figures designed to fit the interior cabs of 1/35 scale military transport trucks. The physical inventory consists of 1 seated driver figure with hands positioned for a steering wheel and 1 seated companion figure in a relaxed posture, both featuring accurate US Army uniforms, boots, and M1 helmets with realistic chinstrap detail.
