By the late stages of the war in 1944 and 1945, the German Wehrmacht relied heavily on specialized vehicles like this Sturmpanzer Brummbar, marked tactically as Number 3, to hold the line. Although the specific military unit for this tank isn't recorded, it operated in a chaotic environment where its three-color "ambush" camouflage pattern was essential for survival against Allied air superiority. The exterior featured the rough texture of "Zimmerit" anti-magnetic mine paste, a countermeasure applied to stop magnetic mines from adhering to the armor during close-quarters fighting.
