U.S. M3 Lee ; 1st Armored Division, 'Kentucky' (Forces of Valor (Unimax), 1/32)

Back in 1942, the 1st Armored Division found itself in the thick of the Tunisian campaign in North Africa, facing down German armor like the Panzer IV. One specific tank in the mix was an M3 Lee known as "Kentucky," identified by hull number U.S.A. W-309513 and a yellow Allied star. Operating around Souk-el-Khemis, the crew had to deal with the harsh, dusty environment while trying to hold their own against seasoned enemy forces in a vehicle that served as a crucial bridge for American armor forces entering the war.

The M3 Lee had a pretty distinct and somewhat awkward design due to its unusual multi-tiered armament. Its main firepower came from a 75mm gun mounted in the hull on the right side, which unfortunately had limited traverse, meaning the driver often had to turn the whole tank to aim. Sitting above that was a 360-degree rotating turret housing a 37mm gun, and topping it all off was a small machine gun cupola. While this setup gave it a high silhouette, the combination of guns allowed it to engage different types of targets simultaneously.
