Title
During the Ardennes Offensive in the winter of 1944, American soldiers were thrust into a desperate defensive struggle against a massive German counter-attack. The conditions in the Ardennes forest were notoriously brutal, with sub-zero temperatures and deep snow forcing troops to rely heavily on wool overcoats and improvised cold-weather gear. The defense of Bastogne became a symbol of American resilience, as paratroopers and infantrymen refused to surrender while surrounded by Axis forces in the frozen woods.\n\nThis miniature set includes 5 individual US soldier figures dressed in heavy winter overcoats and M1 helmets. The squad is equipped with standard-issue combat weaponry, including M1 Garand rifles and a Thompson submachine gun. Each figure is expertly sculpted to represent the stoic posture of frontline troops enduring the harsh conditions of the Belgian winter, complete with field webbing and ammunition pouches worn over their heavy coats.
