Title
Following the D-Day landings, British forces faced stiff resistance as they pushed toward the strategic city of Caen. These infantrymen are equipped with the standard late-war 'battledress,' Mk III 'Turtle' helmets, and iconic Mk II steel helmets, reflecting the transition of gear seen during the summer of 1944. Their equipment, including the P37 webbing and various tools for entrenched warfare, highlights the grit required to clear enemy-held ruins and thick bocage under constant mortar and machine gun fire.\n\nThe set includes 9 uniquely posed infantry figures in various states of combat readiness. The inventory consists of 1 officer in a beret and trench coat, 7 riflemen in advancing or firing stances with Lee-Enfield rifles, and 1 specialist carrying a radio and sidearm, providing a full squad-sized element for Normandy-themed dioramas.
