During the 1940 Campaign for France, the French High Command operated under a traditional military doctrine that emphasized static defense and the strength of the Maginot Line. These officers are depicted in the classic M1935/39 tunics and kepis that defined the look of the French military during the early war years. Despite the strategic collapse, many of these commanders and their units fought with distinction in the defensive battles across the Meuse and during the desperate evacuation at Dunkirk.\n\nThe set includes 3 highly detailed specialist officer figures in formal and field attire. The inventory consists of 1 officer looking to the flank holding a dispatch book, 1 senior officer in a stoic standing pose with a Sam Browne belt, and 1 field officer equipped with goggles and a sidearm holster, ready for armored or motorized transport duty.
