The 'WLA' designation stood for (W)ar, (L)ow compression, and (A)rmy, reflecting a design optimized for the rugged conditions of the European front. These motorcycles were customized with heavy-duty fenders to prevent mud buildup, blackout lights for stealthy night movement, and a rear luggage rack for extra fuel or radio gear. Airborne scouts often used these bikes to probe enemy lines or act as couriers (Dispatch Riders) between headquarters. Unlike the V2 variant featuring the Mohawk haircut, this version represents a more standard-issue profile, with the trooper wearing a netted M1 helmet and full jump gear while navigating his machine through the hedgerows of Normandy.\n\nThis precision resin kit features a 1/35 scale Harley-Davidson WLA with high-detail engine fins, spoked wheels, and side-mounted ammunition boxes. The physical inventory consists of 1 unarmored light vehicle and 1 paratrooper figure in a seated driving position, equipped with a standard paratrooper field pack and canteen.
