The 1st Demolition Section of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment became icons of the D-Day invasion. Known for their refusal to bathe during training—earning them their 'Filthy' moniker—they were tasked with some of the most dangerous sabotage missions behind enemy lines. This set captures the unit's unique 'Mohawk' haircuts, a psychological warfare tactic inspired by Sergeant Jake McNiece. The figures are historically accurate, wearing M1942 jump suits with reinforced pockets and carrying a mix of M1 Garands and Thompson submachine guns. Their poses reflect the aggressive, high-stakes nature of a demolition team operating in the chaos of the night drop over France.\n\nThis high-detail resin set includes 5 infantry figures in dynamic tactical and firing poses. The physical inventory consists of three paratroopers armed with Thompson submachine guns and two riflemen with M1 Garands, all featuring the distinctive Mohawk hairstyle and specialized paratrooper equipment including jump boots and multi-pocketed tactical gear.
