The 7.5 cm PaK 40 was the backbone of German anti-tank defense, capable of penetrating the armor of almost any Allied tank it encountered. When manned by the Luftwaffe's elite paratroopers, these guns were often hidden in expertly camouflaged positions, waiting for the optimal moment to strike. These crews, wearing the iconic rimless M38 paratrooper helmets and 'Knochensack' jump smocks, were highly disciplined and known for their ability to maintain fire under intense pressure. The coordination between the gun commander, loader, and aimers was vital for survival in the face of rapid Allied counter-battery fire and armored breakthroughs.\n\nThis high-detail resin set features a complete anti-tank gun emplacement with a full crew in active combat poses. The physical inventory consists of 1 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun with detailed shield and breech, and 5 paratrooper figures: one standing commander pointing out a target, and four crew members in kneeling or crouched positions handling ammunition and operating the gun's traverse and elevation controls.
