This set illustrates the stark contrast between active combat and the logistical burden of an airborne operation. American paratroopers jumped with a massive amount of gear, often including a reserve chute, a 'Musette' bag, and additional equipment bundles that were sometimes discarded or moved immediately upon landing. While one trooper remains focused on suppressing local threats with his M1 Garand, his comrade is depicted in the process of managing the heavy drop gear and supply bags that sustained the unit until a ground link-up could be established. Both figures are outfitted in the reinforced M1942 jump uniform, featuring the deep pockets and leg ties characteristic of the early-to-mid war paratrooper profile.\n\nThis high-detail resin set includes 2 infantry figures in a specialized tactical pairing. The physical inventory consists of one standing rifleman in a firing pose with an M1 Garand, and one standing paratrooper in a camouflaged helmet carrying multiple equipment bundles and a drop bag, featuring intricate sculpting of straps, buckles, and fabric tension.
