The 3rd Infantry Division, known as 'The Rock of the Marne,' was one of the few American units to fight the Axis on all European fronts, and the 15th Infantry Regiment was at the tip of that spear. In the narrow corridors of European towns, these riflemen faced the constant threat of the German 'Scharfschütze.' A single sniper in a church steeple or attic could freeze an entire advance, forcing the squad to coordinate suppressive fire and careful movement to clear the sector. This scene captures the gritty reality for the 'Can Do' regiment as they navigate a lethal urban landscape.\n\nThis is a full diorama depicting a squad caught in a lethal crosshair. The set includes 9 US Infantry figures from the 15th Regiment, featuring 7 soldiers taking cover behind masonry, 1 casualty slumped against the wall, and 1 soldier dashing for safety; the environment is composed of a large L-shaped damaged stone wall section, a cobblestone street base, and sandbag accessories.
