The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII was a Merlin-engined development of the Spitfire that saw hard service far from the skies over Britain, flying with Allied air forces in Italy, Burma and the South West Pacific. This kit offers three marking options: Sqn Ldr Bruce Watson's shark-mouthed No. 457 "Grey Nurse" Squadron RAAF aircraft (Morotai, 1945), a No. 152 (Hyderabad) Squadron RAF machine (Sinthe, Burma, 1945), and a 307th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group USAAF aircraft (Italy, 1944).

This is the Airfix A17002 injection-moulded plastic model kit in 1/24 scale. It is new, unassembled and unpainted, in its original box. Paints, glue and tools are not included. A great build for Spitfire fans and WWII aviation modellers.
