December 7, 1941 - while Wheeler Field burned, two young lieutenants of the 47th Pursuit Squadron, George Welch and Ken Taylor, drove to Haleiwa strip and got airborne in P-40Bs to fight back. 21st Century Toys built this Special Edition around that morning: olive drab over neutral gray, pre-war red-centered star insignia, "ARMY" and "U.S." under the wings, white 160 on the fuselage and 81 / 15P on the tail.
