Britain took more than 2,000 Corsairs under Lend-Lease and - clipping the wingtips to fit below deck - got them operational at sea well before the US Navy did, flying them against the Tirpitz in Norway and Japanese targets across the Indian Ocean and Pacific. This one wears British temperate camouflage with a Type C1 roundel and the fuselage code TA, a striking break from the usual all-blue American Corsairs.

The scarce British release of 21st Century Toys' 1:18 Ultimate Soldier XD Corsair (Part No. 10127), supplied with its original window box, factory display tray and 1:18 pilot action figure. Folding wings, retractable gear, sliding canopy over a detailed cockpit, poseable control surfaces and removable drop tanks. Opened, still tray-wired with sealed parts bag. A standout for collectors who want something other than another blue Corsair.
